The Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) is a professional certification for TD professionals with at least three years of experience—those who are in the early parts of their careers or whose professional roles and aspirations are focused on foundational areas of the field.
An APTD understands that well-designed talent development strategies and solutions contribute to organizational success and has a strong grounding in the foundational knowledge of the field.
Vignettes Learning has been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. This program qualifies for a maximum of 10 points.
How do I qualify to receive the APTD Certification badge?
To be eligible for the APTD/CPTD certification badge, a participant must:
Be enrolled in any of these workshops.
Complete attendance of all workshop sessions. Should there be valid reasons for missing a session please email us at support@vlworkshops.com. Participants on a different timezone must send an email to discuss requirement completion.
Complete pre-workshop activities.
Submit all required exercises.

You may earn up to a maximum of 10 points for every paid workshop you attend based on the ATD approved point system as follows:
Pre-workshop activities - 1 point ( Introduction/ Pre Survey )
3 live sessions of 2 hours each which totals - 6 points (attendance or arrangement on make-up skeds must be closely coordinated with Vignettes Learning via email)
Mentoring and coaching. - 3 points (Completion of all exercises)
Note that the completion of attendance and other requirements will impact the points awarded to the participant.
