My team holds a twice-weekly FASTER meeting, where they share with me and the team what's finished in their workload and what impact it had on the business, they acknowledge someone, their still outstanding tasks, the biggest trouble spot they are facing, how they have been enlightened recently, and make any requests of the team. My team is part of a larger unit, and those I work with really appreciate our meetings. It allows for visibility, collaboration, and most importantly, a chance to actually talk without an email or Skype! I like to think they're learning from each other in these sessions, or at least all getting a little bit of practical advice from me.
