I have not encountered front line workers who know common thinking tools...and managers often don't know them. How do we borrow from the learner? Ask them how they think through their problem solving, and then Templatize that?
This is a great question and something that Ray and I have been discussing. I'm suggesting we study what currently happening in a phenomenological research framework, then thematically code to our structure and find gaps and bright spots. From this we can customize a plan to help support the effort in a more targeted way. We're excited about this!
