Situation

The situation is where you start. You learn by dealing with real-life work situations. Provide a short description of the situation for the learners to work on. Along the way, you will impact results.
Sitches are situations, jams, issues, errors, gaps, troubles, stoppages and many others to fix and solve. They are also opportunities to improve, grow, expand, and introduce better, faster and cheaper ways to get the desired results.
What is your Situation and Question?
Mary and Peter need to agree on how to proceed. In the current environment, they are not focusing on solving the problem; just making excuses (Peter). The disagreements are delaying completing the project. They need to discuss each item causing problems together and reach a consensus I suggest they start a conversation and brainstorm - use sticky notes for each different thought/suggestion, then, walk through the suggestion to determine "what if."
What's the biggest challenge?
To reach consensus on project outcomes, e.g., costs for the different projects. Why are there marketing delays, what is potential loss to the company in revenue and customers; try uploading a sample to the internet and use a "what if" to determine if the workflow is on target and correct. Peter procrastinating is a big problem and talking "fluff."
What's the objective?
To reach agreement and consensus in the workflow.
