Situation

The situation is where you start. You learn by dealing with real-life work situations. Provide a short description of the situation for the learners to work on. Along the way, you will impact results.
Sitches are situations, jams, issues, errors, gaps, troubles, stoppages and many others to fix and solve. They are also opportunities to improve, grow, expand, and introduce better, faster and cheaper ways to get the desired results.
What is your Situation and Question?
Team members are left out of major project discussions and learn second hand about project progression and next steps, usually through an update with project participants. Team members are blind sided when asked questions about Team Members were assigned to the Project by upper management because of their experience, institutional knowledge of stakeholders, and, skills.
What's the biggest challenge?
Getting the Project Leader to open up and share knowledge with Team Members. I would like assistance on making this a non-threatening situation. What actions could I take?
What's the objective?
To figure out how the Project Leader can be inclusive without exposing her to upper management disapproval and removal as Project Lead. Realistic actions would be helpful that I can seamlessly apply.
