Situation

The situation is where you start. You learn by dealing with real-life work situations. Provide a short description of the situation for the learners to work on. Along the way, you will impact results.

Sitches are situations, jams, issues, errors, gaps, troubles, stoppages and many others to fix and solve. They are also opportunities to improve, grow, expand, and introduce better, faster and cheaper ways to get the desired results.
What is your Situation and Question?
The students enrolled in an online training class are currently working in the hospitality industry. They need to develop a 20 minute training session using at least 3 online tools (free or available through Canvas) to develop and offer the training session.
What's the biggest challenge?
There are many free tools available and choosing the right one is difficult. I will introduce them to 5-7 tools with examples.
What's the objective?
Learn online tools to support the objective of their online training session. Examples of the tools are adobe create cloud products, panopto video, webex, powerpoint, behance, spark, etc. Students will need to draw on their hospitality experience and learn how to become the subject matter expert. Then they will practice their chosen tools (they have 15 days to learn the basics of at least 3 tools). Develop a 20 minute training session on a specific hospitality problem.
