The Texas Education Agency has determined that blind and visually impaired services and deaf and hard of hearing services should be combined into one network - Texas Sensory Support Network (TxSSN). Currently, there is one LMS used as a community of practice for all network members, including educators from both fields.

Our company just reorganized multiple departments do to a pending split from our parent company into an independent entity. As a result, our marketing department has been completely reorganized with a new marketing operations team put in place. I am on this team and we are working on processes to simplify work for the regional strategic marketers, which is creating confusion because at the same time, we are moving to new software for marketing automation.

Mary and Peter need to agree on how to proceed. In the current environment, they are not focusing on solving the problem; just making excuses (Peter). The disagreements are delaying completing the project. They need to discuss each item causing problems together and reach a consensus I suggest they start a conversation and brainstorm - use sticky notes for each different thought/suggestion, then, walk through the suggestion to determine "what if."

The HR Department at XYZ Health Plan has reported to Senior Leadership that for FY 2019 there was an increased Employee Turn-over Rate from 20% in quarter 1 to a concerning 35% in quarter 4 for the job role of the Prior Authorization Nursing Staff. The Operations Team are not sure what to do about this employee retention issue.

What's the Situation?
Employees ‘travel’ for hot beverages and snacks. They ride several elevators and escalators, then wait in lines to buy these things. Time is lost but people want coffee and hot water for tea. Instant coffee machines have been installed on each of the 40 floors, but they are not as popular as the well-known chain coffee and pastry shops available to anyone who wants to travel to lower levels of the building (or to the shops outside of it).
